By providing your mobile phone number and giving your explicit consent during your service agreement signing, you may receive text messages related to the services provided to you by your septic service company. These messages may include:
SepticCycle is a B2B platform used by independent septic service companies to manage their customers and field operations. SMS consent is collected directly from you — the customer — during the digital service agreement signing process.
When you receive a contract signing link from your septic service provider, the signing page includes an optional, unchecked-by-default SMS opt-in checkbox. You must actively check this box yourself to consent to receiving text messages. This checkbox:
Exact opt-in language shown on the signing page (verbatim)
“I consent to receive SMS appointment reminders and service notifications from [Company Name]. Msg & data rates may apply. Message frequency varies (typically 1–5 messages per service event). Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance.”
This text appears directly beside an unchecked checkbox under the heading OPTIONAL — TEXT MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS. Below the checkbox, a secondary line reads: “This is completely optional and separate from your service agreement. Your service will not be affected if you do not consent.”

Above: The SMS opt-in checkbox as it appears on the live customer-facing contract signing page at www.septiccycle.com/sign/[contract-id]. The checkbox is unchecked by default. The customer checks it themselves on their own device — no staff member ever checks this box on the customer’s behalf. Consent is timestamped at the moment the customer checks the box.
Customers may also opt in at any time by texting START to their service provider’s assigned phone number.
Opting in to SMS notifications is entirely voluntary. Customers who do not consent will receive the same level of service with no restrictions. SMS consent is never bundled with any other agreement, terms of service, or service contract.
Message frequency varies based on your service schedule and account activity. Typical usage is 1–5 messages per service event.
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive. You will receive a confirmation and no further texts will be sent:
Confirmation message after STOP
“You have been unsubscribed from [Company Name] notifications. No further messages will be sent. Reply START to re-subscribe.”
You can opt back in at any time by replying START to the same number or by contacting your service provider directly.
Message and data rates may apply. SepticCycle and your service provider are not responsible for any charges from your mobile carrier.
For assistance, reply HELP to any message. You will receive a response with contact information for your service provider and SepticCycle support:
Automated HELP reply
“For help with SMS notifications from [Company Name], contact [company phone]. For SepticCycle platform support: support@septiccycle.com. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.”
You may also reach SepticCycle support directly at support@septiccycle.com.
Your phone number is used solely for service-related communications from your septic service provider. It is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. For more information, see our Privacy Policy or contact your septic service provider directly.
